Thai Nexus Browser Extension Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Thai Nexus Point Co., Ltd. ("Thai Nexus," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Thai Nexus browser extension for Google Chrome (the "Extension") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use it to buy from Thai online shops and manage your Thai Nexus account.

The Extension is part of our purchasing, mailbox and shipping services (the "Services"). Personal information you send to us through the Extension is also handled under our main Privacy Policy at app.thainexus.co.th/privacypolicy. Where this policy is more specific about the Extension, this policy applies.

By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Extension.

2. Information the Extension Processes

2.1 Product Information You Choose to Add

When you click "Buy with Thai Nexus" (in the toolbar popup, the right-click menu, the keyboard shortcut, or the button shown on a shop), the Extension reads that one product page:

• Product name, image and price
• Options you choose (for example colour and size) and quantity
• The address (link) of the product page
• Any notes you type for our team

This information is kept on your device and is sent to Thai Nexus only when you press Send on your purchase request.

2.2 Your Thai Nexus Account Information

When you are signed in, the Extension retrieves and shows you information from your own Thai Nexus account:

• Your name and email address
• Your Thai mailing address and mailbox number
• Parcels waiting at our facility, your shipments and their costs
• Your purchase requests and their status
• Shipping rates for the country you choose

2.3 Your Sign-in

The Extension does not ask for your password. If you are signed in at app.thainexus.co.th in the same browser, the Extension reuses that sign-in session so you do not have to sign in twice. The session is read only from app.thainexus.co.th, stored only on your device, sent only to the Thai Nexus service, and removed when you sign out.

2.4 English Translation (Optional)

To help you shop, product names and options written in Thai or Chinese can be shown with an English translation. Chrome's built-in translator on your device is used first, and that text does not leave your device. Text it cannot translate is sent to the Thai Nexus service for AI translation, but only when you are signed in and open the purchase panel, and only the product name and option text. Translations are cached on your device. You can turn translation off in the Extension's Settings at any time.

2.5 Information Stored Only on Your Device

• Your settings (shipping country, display currency, check interval, translation, and which shops show the button)
• The purchase request you are building, until you send it
• A small cache of translations
• The last known status of your parcels and quotes, so you are notified only about new events

3. What the Extension Does Not Collect

• We do not collect your browsing history or the list of websites you visit.
• The Extension does not run on any website until you ask it to, except the shops you have switched on in Settings.
• We do not record clicks, keystrokes, scrolling or other activity on websites.
• We do not read your location, IP address or device location through the Extension.
• The Extension does not handle card numbers or payments.
• The Extension contains no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use information from the Extension only for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: To receive your purchase requests, buy the products you ask for, and prepare your quote
• Account Features: To show you your parcels, shipments, purchase requests, shipping rates and Thai mailing address
• Notifications: To tell you when a parcel arrives or a quote is ready
• Translation: To show you product details in English when you choose this feature
• Support and Security: To respond to your requests and protect your account

We do not use information from the Extension for advertising, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information from the Extension only with:

• Service Providers: Companies that host and operate our platform on our behalf, including our application hosting provider and an AI provider used for translation. They process data only on our instructions.
• Shops and Carriers: When we buy and ship your items, we share what is needed to place the order and deliver it, as described in our main Privacy Policy.
• Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or government request.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Website Access and Your Control

The Extension shows the "Buy with Thai Nexus" button automatically only on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Taobao/Tmall and LINE SHOPPING product pages. Other shops listed in Settings stay off until you switch them on, and Chrome asks your permission for each of those websites first.

You can at any time:

• Switch the button off for any shop in Settings
• Turn English translation off in Settings
• Sign out of app.thainexus.co.th to disconnect the Extension
• Remove the Extension from Chrome, which deletes everything it stored on your device

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit between the Extension and the Thai Nexus service
• Sending your sign-in only to the Thai Nexus service, never to other websites
• Keeping the Extension's interface separate from the websites you visit
• Access controls and authentication on our platform

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Information stored on your device stays there until you send your purchase request, clear it, or remove the Extension. Information you send to us is retained as described in our main Privacy Policy, including up to 7 years where Thai law requires it for accounting and tax purposes.

Under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Request access to your personal information
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal requirements)
• Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Data Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service provider
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal information
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent where we rely on it for processing

10. International Data Transfers

Because our customers and some of our service providers are outside Thailand, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

11. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

The use of information received through the Extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this information only to provide and improve the Extension's single purpose of helping you buy from Thai online shops and manage your Thai Nexus account.

12. Children's Privacy

The Extension and our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. If a change affects how the Extension handles your data, we will also tell you in the Extension before the change applies. Your continued use of the Extension after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
