This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Company’s Terms of Service, Standard Trading Conditions, and Mailbox Terms of Service, and takes precedence over those documents on any matter concerning prohibited, restricted, or dangerous items.
1. Purpose
This policy ensures that all shipments, mailbox deliveries, and services handled by Thai Nexus Point Co., Ltd. (“we,” “our,” “the Company”) comply with Thai export laws and international shipping regulations. It exists to prevent the forwarding of illegal, restricted, or unverified items through our mailbox rental, freight forwarding, and logistics services, regardless of whether the Company is acting under the Mailbox Terms of Service or the Standard Trading Conditions for a given item.
2. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Clients are strictly prohibited from using Thai Nexus services to receive, store, ship, or forward any of the following items:
- Narcotics, psychotropic substances, or unregistered pharmaceuticals
- Prescription medications without a valid prescription and import/export clearance
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or military-grade equipment
- Counterfeit goods, pirated media, or items that infringe on intellectual property rights
- Hazardous chemicals or substances classified as dangerous goods
- Items restricted by Thai Customs, the Ministry of Public Health, or international treaties
- Any goods whose export from Thailand is illegal or unauthorized
- Any goods whose import into the destination country is illegal or unauthorized – the client is responsible for knowing and complying with destination-country restrictions in addition to Thai law
3. Client Responsibility
- Clients are fully responsible for knowing the contents of their shipments and mailbox deliveries, and for verifying that those contents are lawful to export from Thailand and import into the destination country.
- Thai Nexus, in cases of suspicion or legal risk, reserves the right to inspect the contents of any parcel, consistent with the Customer warranties and the Company’s rights under Section 2 of our Standard Trading Conditions, and reserves the right to reject service or report suspicious packages to authorities.
- Using our address or services to bypass local laws or export controls is strictly forbidden.
4. Identity Verification Required
To comply with Thai regulations and ensure lawful exports:
- Clients must submit a valid passport or Thai ID before requesting mail forwarding or export.
- Thai Nexus may withhold forwarding or shipping services until identity is verified.
- In cases of suspicion or legal risk, we reserve the right to refuse service or report to authorities.
5. Enforcement
Violation of this policy may result in:
- Suspension or termination of mailbox rental, mail forwarding, or shipping privileges;
- Notification to Thai Customs, the Royal Thai Police, or other relevant authorities;
- Confiscation or destruction of prohibited items in accordance with Thai law.
Where an item is confiscated, destroyed, refused, or seized under this Section, that outcome is governed by this Policy and does not follow the notice or storage timelines set out in our Storage and Disposal Policy, which applies only to lawful, unclaimed mail and packages.
6. Liability and Indemnity
The Company is not liable for any loss, cost, delay, fine, penalty, or consequential damage arising from the confiscation, seizure, destruction, refusal, or delay of any item under this Policy, except where such action results directly from the Company’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. The client shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company against all liabilities, losses, damages, costs, duties, fines, and expenses – including legal fees – arising from a client’s breach of this Policy, consistent with the indemnity obligations in Section 2.4 of our Standard Trading Conditions.

8. Acknowledgment
By renting a mailbox, requesting mail forwarding, or placing a shipping order through Thai Nexus, the client acknowledges and agrees to comply with this Restricted Items & Export Compliance Policy.
