Use this order, one line per block:
- Recipient name

- Subdistrict (tambon)
- District (amphoe)
- Province
- Postal code (five digits)
- Thailand (when the parcel starts outside Thailand)

Keep the same spelling every time. If you write Nong Kae on one order and Nong Gae on the next, drivers treat them as two places.
What is soi in a Thai address?
Soi (ซอย) is a side street off a larger road (thanon). Soi Hua Hin 102 means side street 102 in that Hua Hin numbering. Couriers navigate by soi number more than by villa name. If you omit the soi, the parcel often sits on the main road.
What is moo in a Thai address?
Moo (หมู่) is a numbered village or community inside a subdistrict. Moo 5, Tambon Nong Kae means the fifth village cluster in that tambon. Rural and some estate addresses use moo instead of soi. Put the moo number next to the house number, not as a replacement for the postal code.

Why do Thai couriers call before delivery?
Kerry, Flash, J&T and Shopee Xpress almost always call. They confirm you are home and ask for the soi. If nobody answers, they mark the stop failed. A staffed warehouse answers in Thai and signs.
